The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Athens is a large-scale development that combines a five-star hotel, an internationally oriented casino, a high-standard exhibition and conference center, and a modern entertainment, sports, and public gathering venue. The complex will also include high-quality dining facilities, cafés and bars, a luxurious Rock Spa and pool complex, as well as retail stores.
The five-star hotel will feature 900 rooms and 200 suites, offering a total capacity of 2,920 beds, and will rise across 41 floors. The project represents an investment of over €1.5 billion, which is expected to significantly upgrade Greece’s tourism product and strengthen its international appeal.
The building complex, with a total built area of 128,886 m², is organized into two main volumetric components: the podium (base) and the tower, which will reach a height of 197 meters. The tower is vertically organized into three sections—base, shaft, and crown—and is oriented toward three distinct directions. These orientations correspond to key landmarks located within the conceptual triangle surrounding the project: the Acropolis of Athens, the Saronic Gulf, and Mount Hymettus.
