The Greek company Gefyra S.A. was established in 1995 by the French firm VINCI in collaboration with six Greek construction companies for the development of the Rion-Antirion Bridge. Spanning a total distance of 2,500 meters, the bridge features a 2,252 m long cable-stayed section supported by four pylons. The span distribution includes sections of 286 meters, 560 meters, 560 meters, 560 meters, and 286 meters. Additionally, the structure comprises two approach viaducts—392 meters on the Rion side and 239 meters on the Antirion side.
