Patra’s University Postgraduate Student Educational Visit

On April 19, 2019, a group of approximately 12 Postgraduate students from the ‘Resilient Materials, Structures, and Geotechnical Infrastructures’ program visited our production facilities in the Patras Industrial Area. The visit was part of the ‘Steel Structure Design Course on Durability and Resilience Against Extreme Actions,’ led by Professor Theodoros Karavasilis, who accompanied the students.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to tour the facilities and engage with key company personnel on topics relevant to their studies, including BIM, welding technology, production processes, surface protection of steel structures, and quality control.

K. Liaromatis S.A. actively supports educational visits, which provide students with firsthand industry experience and insights into steel structure manufacturing. These interactions foster collaboration between academia and industry, creating mutual benefits and future opportunities for both institutions.

Roc de Leijgraaf Student Educational Visit

On April 22nd, 2019, twenty-five students aged 18-23 from different Technical Departments at ROC de Leijgraaf visited our facilities. They were accompanied by three teachers, including Ms. Georgia Vasilara, who has Greek origins.

Ms. Georgia Vasilara, the Head of the Quality Department, conducted a two-hour tour and presentation, showcasing our innovative equipment, production processes, and key international projects.

Conference: Arched Bridge T4 of Tsakona

On March 22, 2017, a grand workshop was held at the Conference Centre of the Western Greece Technological Institute of Patras. It covered key technical aspects of planning, engineering design, construction phases, and challenges encountered during development. The workshop concluded with the presentation of international awards for this remarkable project.
